Account Manager – Environmental Services

Full-Time | Growth-Focused | Client-Facing

This is an opportunity for an experienced Environmental Services Account Manager who knows how to build relationships, open doors, and grow a book of business in a technically complex, service-driven environment.

You’ll own and expand an assigned portfolio of accounts while actively developing new business across waste management, environmental remediation, industrial cleaning, transportation, disposal, and EHS consulting services. This is a true hunter-farmer role for someone who is comfortable being the primary point of contact from first conversation through proposal, project execution, and long-term partnership.

What Your Day Will Look Like

- Grow new business while expanding and retaining an existing book of accounts

- Serve as the primary client interface during proposal development and project execution

- Identify, research, and pursue new markets, services, and growth strategies

- Support business development efforts through client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions

- Respond to client inquiries related to services, pricing strategies, regulations, and project scope

- Market and sell a full suite of environmental services including remediation, transportation, disposal, industrial cleaning, and EHS consulting

- Collaborate internally to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably

- This role blends strategic selling with hands-on client support—you’ll be trusted to manage your territory with minimal oversight.

What Our Client Is Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, environmental science, marketing, or a related field

(or equivalent combination of education and experience)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the environmental services industry

- Minimum of 5 years in account management or business development

- Strong working knowledge of state and federal waste code regulations

- Proficiency with MS Office

- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills

- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities

- Willingness to travel as needed

- Valid driver’s license
