They continue to grow,  are seeking a proactive, client-focused Accounting Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of high-quality financial services.

Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of business clients, overseeing financial reporting, team development, and strategic client engagements. This individual will lead a team of accounting professionals and collaborate closely with clients and internal departments to deliver exceptional accounting products and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and produce periodic financial reports for all business clients, primarily using QuickBooks Online (QBO)

· Conduct client meetings—both for business and, time permitting, individual clients—to present and explain financial reports and tax outcomes

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professional accounting staff, with a focus on elevating the quality and consistency of our financial accounting deliverables

· Actively participate in the client onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions and service alignment

· Work closely as a business partner with other internal departments to support client success and drive operational improvements

· Collaborate with the accounting team to recognize, capture, and act on revenue opportunities

· Participate in the preparation and/or review of business income tax returns, with the ability to assist in individual income tax preparation as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required)

· 8+ years of experience in a Public Accounting Firm including several years of substantive interaction with business clients.

· Technologically savvy with advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat DC

· Working knowledge of basic tax preparation and workpapers; familiarity with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax a plus

· Experience leading and mentoring accounting teams

· Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
