Job Title: Commercial Estimator

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive project estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to provide competitive bids that meet client requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies during the estimation process.
- Maintain a database of historical data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of estimates.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost information.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure timely submissions.
- Track and report on project progress and adjust estimates as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial estimation, particularly in HVAC.
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC systems is a plus.
