Hospice - CEO

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with ownership to develop and implement long-term strategic plans focused on growth and quality enhancement.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of clinical and administrative programs, optimizing processes to deliver efficient and high-standard palliative care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid and QAPI (Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement) standards.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial sustainability.
- Community and Public Relations: Serve as the public face of the organization, establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, donors, and community stakeholders.
- Staff and Culture Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and retain qualified staff and volunteers, nurturing a culture of compassion and excellence within the organization.
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally as a CEO, Executive Director, or senior leader within a hospice or healthcare environment.
- Education: A bachelor’s or master's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of hospice philosophy, Medicare regulations, and healthcare management practices.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities.
