Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and rack systems.
- Drive a company service van and travel up to 100 miles per day for on-site service delivery.
- Safely navigate a 32-foot ladder, handle equipment and materials weighing up to 100 lbs, and ensure secure load handling when towing a trailer.
- Utilize work order management systems for accurate and efficient documentation of services provided, including detailed notes, photos, and materials used.
- Engage directly with clients to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Operate and update customer portals effectively for check-ins/outs and other functions, enhancing communication and transparency.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean record (no suspensions in the past year and no excessive traffic violations).
- Physical ability to meet job demands with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting heavy equipment and climbing ladders.
- EPA certification in HVAC is required.
- Proven experience in servicing commercial refrigeration systems in diverse environments such as grocery chains and restaurant franchises.
- Familiarity with various work order management systems, with proficiency in service documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to engage professionally with customers.
- Competence in using technologies such as iPhone/Apple apps, customer portals, and work order systems.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or be on-call as needed.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies.
