Our client, a top firm revered for its contributions during significant transformations such as post-acquisition integration, CFO transitions, turnarounds, and exit preparations, is currently seeking a talented Accounting & Finance Manager. This exciting opportunity promises engaging work that facilitates financial infrastructure development, improved reporting, and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the month-end close process, financial reporting, and analytics for client engagements.
- Develop and maintain 13-week cash flow forecasts and ensure compliance with covenant requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and crafting sophisticated financial models.
- Compile and produce board, lender, and executive-level financial reports and insights.
- Support acquisition due diligence, prepare opening balance sheets, and manage post-integration financial cleanup.
- Establish and enforce accounting policies adhering to GAAP standards, including ASC 606, 805, and 842.
- Drive data integrity and ensure reporting readiness for potential future client exits.
- Collaborate with client accounting teams, exerting influence without direct authority to steer financial strategies.
- Facilitate and manage annual audit processes and engage in ad hoc finance-related initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Background in public accounting, with a preference for experience in Big 4 or Top 20 firms.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or a controller-level capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and robust financial analysis abilities.
- Aptitude for thriving in fast-paced and ever-changing environments, adeptly managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with various ERP systems.
- Readiness to travel occasionally to client sites within the local or regional area.
Nice to Have:
- CPA designation.
- Experience with private equity or transaction-related activities.
- Familiarity with integrations, turnarounds, or CFO advisory scenarios.
- Experience in client-facing consulting or advisory roles.
