Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly growing, nationwide senior living and skilled nursing organization known for its dedication to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and resident-centered services. Currently, the company is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join their team and oversee the clinical operations at their skilled nursing facility in Williamsport, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure delivery of exceptional care that meets clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance benchmarks and nursing service objectives.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical personnel to ensure a high-performing and compassionate nursing staff.
  • Assess and monitor resident care plans, pre-admission data, and medication responses to ensure appropriate levels of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, and families to deliver comprehensive, personalized care aligned with individual needs and medical directives.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of resident care and initiate improvements based on clinical assessments and feedback.
  • Ensure that the nursing department complies with state and federal regulations, including DOH, CMS, and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in PA (or eligibility to transfer).
  • Proven leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
  • Knowledge of nursing regulations, clinical assessments, care planning, and survey readiness.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
