Empowered Staffing is proud to partner with a fast-growing senior living organization that is actively seeking an experienced Director of Business Development & Marketing to lead occupancy growth efforts for its assisted living facility in Bedford, OH.

As the Director of Business Development & Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing referral partnerships and enhancing brand visibility in the local community. This role is ideal for a motivated healthcare marketing professional with a proven track record in census development and relationship-building in the assisted living and senior care industry.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, case managers, social workers, home health, hospice, and other senior care providers.
  • Design and implement community outreach and digital marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the facility’s services, including assisted living and memory care.
  • Represent the senior living community at health fairs, local events, senior expos, networking groups, and community partner meetings to establish a strong local presence.
  • Convert leads into move-ins by managing the sales pipeline, conducting tours, and following up with prospective residents and families.
  • Work closely with leadership to set occupancy goals, track KPIs, and manage marketing budgets effectively.
  • Monitor local market trends and competitors to uncover new referral sources and marketing opportunities.

    Qulaifications

    • 3+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience in one or more of the following sectors: assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing (SNF), hospice, home health, or healthcare systems.
    • Proven success in driving census growth and increasing move-ins within a senior living or healthcare environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of qualified referral sources.
    • Highly self-motivated with a “hunter” mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead tracking platforms (a plus).
