Empowered Staffing is partnered with a skilled nursing facility in Niles, IL that is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Supervisor to join their team to oversee the clinical operations at the facility.
As the Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training the team of nurses, increasing the quality of care provided to residents, and ensuring the facility is compliant with all laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate direct resident care, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Provide hands-on support, including administering care and medications per physician orders.
Ensure adequate staffing and supervise Nursing Assistants.
Conduct daily resident rounds, identify safety hazards, and initiate corrective actions.
Participate in care planning, education programs, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary conferences.
Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to assess needs and resolve concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, medications, and treatments.
Required Education/Experience:
Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
At least 1 year of nursing experience
Previous leadership experience is preferred
