Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly expanding national real estate investment firm with a diverse portfolio including multifamily assets, self-storage properties, and ground-up developments. To support continued growth and drive strategic investment decisions, the firm is seeking a talented and analytical Real Estate Analyst to join its team in Skokie, IL.


As the Real Estate Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to conduct real estate investment analysis, forecasting, and create executive-level reporting for various assets throughout the United States. 


Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, waterfall analyses, budgeting strategies, and ROI evaluations for real estate acquisitions and development projects.
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial reports and predictive analytics to guide executive decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth market and property analysis to evaluate investment opportunities across multifamily, retail, self-storage, and industrial sectors.
  • Work closely with the firm’s Principal on special projects and high-level financial assessments to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Present financial findings and investment insights confidently to partners, executives, and key stakeholders.
  • Travel up to twice per month to assess project sites and collaborate with property teams across markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related discipline.
  • 1–5 years of hands-on experience in real estate finance, preferably with exposure to multifamily, Class A, retail, commercial, or industrial real estate assets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including modeling and waterfall analysis), along with experience using Argus Enterprise, RealPage Asset Monitoring, and other real estate financial platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate data into strategic insights for leadership.
  • Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
