The company has built a strong reputation in the space and is backed by an experienced and highly successful executive team with deep expertise in skilled nursing and senior care.
Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Regional Sales Director to help shape its sales strategy, drive new business development, and expand market presence across the long-term care sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the long-term care and senior living sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with nursing home owners, operators, management companies, and executive leadership teams.
- Generate leads through networking, industry associations, referrals, conferences, and strategic outreach.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting through contract execution.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand operational and financial pain points.
- Present customized solutions that align with prospective clients' business needs.
- Collaborate with internal operational and financial teams to develop proposals and implementation plans.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and effectively manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, reimbursement changes, and market dynamics affecting long-term care operators.
- Travel regularly to meet with prospects and clients while maintaining strong relationships with internal leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience.
- Proven experience selling products or services into the long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living industries.
- Strong understanding of skilled nursing facility operations and the senior care landscape.
- Experience selling to executive-level decision makers, including owners, operators, CFOs, and administrators.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing client relationships.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Willingness to travel regularly, including monthly visits to the Chicago office and client meetings across the country.
