Position: Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Edenbrook Lakeside a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide direct therapy services to residents under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Communicate resident progress or any concerns to the Occupational Therapist, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Instruct families and nursing staff on patient follow-through programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain documentation of treatment provided and progress made in accordance with facility guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all equipment used during therapy sessions is in safe working order, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow facility protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing in the state of [Insert State].
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting preferred but not required
