Position: Beautician
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Beautician to provide services to our residents Once a week. This role is perfect for a professional who values flexibility, enjoys working with older adults, and wants to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hair services, including perms, haircuts, washes, and sets, tailored to the preferences and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with the facility to schedule visits in advance, ensuring residents are informed and prepared.
- Set and communicate your service prices for transparency with residents and their families.
- Create a friendly, respectful, and comfortable experience for residents.
- Maintain all safety and sanitation standards in the facility-provided salon space.
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license and Shop License in the state of Wisconsin
- Proven work experience as a Beautician, Cosmetologist or similar position.
- Experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide professional, high-quality hair care services.
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage a flexible schedule.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Once a week (flexible; provider may choose preferred day)
- Compensation: Set your own service rates; payment will be made directly by residents
- Facility Support: Salon space and sanitation/cleaning materials will be provided
- Supplies: Provider must bring their own tools and supplies
- Work Location: In person
