Edenbrook Lakeside is a skilled nursing facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as part of the Eden Senior Care network. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can support a large employee population, and serves as a strong partner to the HR department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate HR operations within a skilled nursing facility
  • Collaborate with state surveyors and ensure HR files meet regulatory and compliance standards
  • Accurately and efficiently process payroll (payroll experience is required)
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and provide employee support on benefit-related questions
  • Support staffing and recruitment efforts; act as backup to the HR leader when needed
  • Manage and prioritize tasks in a high‑volume HR environment with professionalism, organization, and strong communication skills

Requirement:

  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
  • Direct experience working with state surveyors and strong knowledge of typical HR compliance requirements
  • Must have payroll processing experience
  • Working knowledge of benefits enrollment processes
  • Experience with staffing or recruitment is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a large, high‑volume facility
  • Strong multitasking skills and comfort working in a busy, dynamic environment
  • A positive, approachable, and adaptable personality. Someone who can integrate well with our team culture and maintain strong working relationships
  • Willingness to learn and grow. Training will be provided, but a solid foundational understanding of HR functions is essential
