Eden East is seeking a Corporate Business Office Manager to serve as the primary liaison between facility-level Business Office Managers (BOMs) and the Accounts Receivable (AR) department. This role ensures consistent training, compliance, and financial performance across assigned facilities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced BOM professional with regional experience in Pennsylvania who can lead, mentor, and support facility teams for operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between facility BOMs and the AR Director regarding business office operations.
- Provide on-site support when a facility BOM is on vacation or when the role is vacant.
- Develop and implement BOM training and compliance monitoring systems.
- Review and analyze financial data to support AR performance goals.
- Lead quarterly BOM Report Card reviews and collaborate with facility and corporate leadership.
- Oversee Private Pay and Medicaid billing, collections, and appeals processes.
- Monitor pending Medicaid cases and follow up weekly; escalate when needed.
- Coordinate with legal and administrative leaders on guardianship or POA-related challenges.
- Conduct and lead monthly collection calls and distribute AR performance updates.
- Address escalated financial concerns from families and residents.
- Draft and issue official collection and warning letters for overdue accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with senior leadership, including the Chief Revenue Officer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Office Manager in skilled nursing facilities within Pennsylvania.
- Regional BOM experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, private-pay billing, and long-term care financial operations.
- Proficient in PCC (PointClickCare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing and able to travel as needed to support operations in 6 Pennsylvania facilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
