Job Title: Regional Business Office Manager 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Regional Business Office Manager to oversee the billing management of skilled nursing facilities across Wisconsin or Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in skilled nursing home billing management, with a proven track record of managing at least three business offices in long-term care. This role requires a deep understanding of PCC systems, Wisconsin/Minnesota Medicaid processes, and the unique billing requirements for skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee billing operations for multiple skilled nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize PCC to manage census payers at the facility level and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to bed hold requirements and Dashboard reporting requirements for a Business Office Manager (BOM).
  • Navigate and manage Wisconsin/Minnesota Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, and RFMS and/or PCC Trust portals to ensure timely approvals and claims processing.
  • Train and mentor business office staff on best practices in billing and collections.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of billing practices to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions for staff across the region as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall financial performance of the facilities.

Conditions:

  • Must have 2 years min of Skilled Nursing Home billing management experience overseeing at least 5 plus business offices in long term care.
  • Must have experience in Wisconsin and preferably in Minnesota BOM management.
  • Must know pending process for Medicaid, managed medicaid in those states.
  • Must know PCC in all aspects of the AR side including dashboard management and month end close., how census payers work at the facility level, bed hold requirements for the State of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
  • Dashboard requirements of a BOM.
  • Must know how to navigate portals for Wisconsin and MN Medicaid, Managed Medicaid and RFMS and/or PCC Trust.
  • Travel to MN and WI necessary for new BOM orientation training approximately 3 onsite days as needed.
  • Travel would be needed about 25% of the time to visit and train current BOM’s.
  • Remote work allowed remainder of time.
  • Travel subject to BOM needs
