Position Overview:
Are you someone who enjoys the thrill of keeping things running smoothly and efficiently? Do you love problem-solving and creating a safe, well-maintained environment for everyone around you? If so, we want you to join our team as a Plant Management Assistant!
In this role, you’ll work closely with our plant management team to ensure that our senior care communities stay in top shape. From ensuring that facilities are safe, well-maintained, and running like clockwork, to solving facility issues on the fly—every day will bring something new and exciting!
What You'll Be Doing:
Keeping Things Running Smoothly:
- Day-to-Day Operations: Assist with the overall maintenance and operations of our communities. You’ll be on the front lines, ensuring everything is functioning properly so that our staff and residents are safe and comfortable.
- Preventive Maintenance: Be the hero who helps prevent breakdowns by coordinating and ensuring maintenance schedules are followed. You'll keep everything in tip-top shape before problems even arise!
- Safety First: Team up with facility managers to maintain safety and compliance across all communities. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring safety protocols are met and that everyone can enjoy a secure environment.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: When something goes wrong, you’ll be ready to step in and tackle the issue head-on. Whether it's fixing a broken system or identifying ways to improve facilities, you’ll be at the heart of making things better.
Working with Awesome Teams:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, from facility managers to team members across the organization. You’ll be part of a collaborative effort to ensure our communities run smoothly and that everyone has what they need to succeed.
- Exciting Projects: Every day is different! You’ll be involved in projects that help improve our communities, whether it’s upgrading a system, improving facilities, or implementing new solutions. You’ll be constantly learning and growing.
What We’re Looking For:
- A can-do attitude and a passion for hands-on work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Organizational skills that help you keep everything running efficiently while juggling multiple tasks.
- A problem-solver who enjoys thinking on their feet and coming up with creative solutions.
- A team player who loves collaborating with others to make a difference.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to coordinate with team members and report on issues quickly.
- A basic knowledge of facility maintenance or a related field is helpful but not required—we’re willing to train the right person!
