Position: Activity Assistant (Part Time)

Our dedicated team ensures a nurturing environment where seniors thrive and find joy in every moment.

Schedule: We can offer a full-time position to candidates who are amenable to working rotating weekends as an Activities Assistant, with occasional weekday shifts as a Dietary Aide.

PAY: $17.00/HR

The Activity Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.

Job functions will include:

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
  • Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day
  • Help design programs to encourage socialization
  • Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
  • Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
  • Ensure activity areas are safe and well maintained
  • Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation
