Eden Vista Ripon, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, professional individual who understands the important role nutrition and hospitality play in enhancing our residents' quality of life.
Position: Dietary Aide/Cook
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- 5-6 working days in a week
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts required
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation and dining areas.
- Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Head Cook.
- Serve meals to residents in the dining room or deliver meals to resident rooms.
- Clean and sanitize dining areas following meal service.
- Receive and properly stock food deliveries in the pantry, refrigerator, and freezer.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to provide excellent service to residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience as a Cook or Dietary Aide in a healthcare setting.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Professional attitude and respectful communication.
- A good level of maturity and the ability to work well in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide compassionate service to residents.
- Previous dietary or food service experience is a plus but not required.
