Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids is a CMS 5-star skilled nursing facility known for its warm, family-oriented culture and commitment to high-quality resident care. We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team in a fast-paced, supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day HR operations within the facility. This is a stand-alone HR position working closely with leadership and department heads to support employees and ensure smooth HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and oversee bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the recruitment process for CNAs, Nurses, and other facility staff
  • Support onboarding activities and ensure all required new hire documentation is completed and properly filed
  • Assist with accounts payable functions, including processing and tracking invoices
  • Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR matters, employee questions, and workplace concerns
  • Support employee relations efforts, including initial handling of concerns and assisting with internal investigations when needed
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and healthcare employment regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership and department heads to support staffing and operational needs

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year HR experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred: Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting

Compensation & Schedule

  • Salary: from $60,000 annually
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
