Position: Assistant Administrator

Edenbrook North is seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Administrator to support the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is perfect for a recent graduate of a Health Care Administration program who is ready to begin their career in long-term care leadership.

The Assistant Administrator will work closely with the Administrator and department heads to ensure compliance, support resident satisfaction, and maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Administrator in overseeing the daily operations of the facility.
  • Coordinate and support Short-Term Rehab Social Services and Case Management efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to promote efficiency, quality care, and resident satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support staff recruitment, training, and retention strategies.
  • Engage with residents, families, and the community to maintain a strong and positive reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or related field (required).
  • Completion of a Health Care Administration internship or practicum (preferred).
  • Background in social services.
  • Long term care experience
  • Nursing Home Administrator License or eligibility to obtain in the near future (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for senior care and dedication to person-centered service.
