Edenbrook Second Ave, a well-established and a trusted provider in the skilled nursing space located in Kingston, PA, and a proud member of Eden East, is looking for an RN Unit Manager who will be instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.

Position: RN Unit Manager: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • On-call rotation for weekend!
  • This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
  • Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
  • Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
  • Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
  • Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Preferably with at least 1 year of experience as Unit Manager/ Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse
  • Licensed with current Pennsylvania nursing licensure required.
  • Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
  • 2 years of experience in a long-term care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
  • Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
  • Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
