Children’s Land Early Childhood Education Center is dedicated to fostering a holistic learning environment for young children. We believe in nurturing the physical, emotional, and social development of our students through a variety of activities, including yoga. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting well-rounded growth in our children.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead age-appropriate yoga sessions for children, focusing on fun and engaging activities.

• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Teach basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

• Incorporate storytelling, music, and play into yoga sessions to make them enjoyable for young children.

• Monitor and assess each child’s participation and progress, providing individualized support as needed.

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate yoga into the overall curriculum.

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child’s participation and progress in yoga.

• Utilize Brightwheel for daily communication with parents.

• Maintain a clean and organized yoga space, ensuring all materials and equipment are safe and suitable for young children.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in yoga instruction for children.

• Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Yoga Instructor, with specialization or experience in teaching yoga to children.

• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a yoga or fitness setting.

• Strong understanding of child development principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to create a nurturing and engaging educational environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

• Familiarity with various yoga styles and techniques suitable for young children.

• Experience incorporating music, storytelling, and play into yoga sessions.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and staff.
