**Main Responsibilities:** - **Lead Generation & Sales:** Actively engage in daily business development activities, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication to generate sales leads and bid opportunities. - **Client Engagement:** Work with environmental consulting and engineering firms, governmental agencies, and private industry companies to build and maintain strong client relationships. - **Sales Calls:** Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly face-to-face sales calls with both existing and potential customers. - **Lead Follow-up:** Promptly follow up on any leads assigned by the company, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person. - **Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with the VP of Sales, senior management, estimators, and project managers to align efforts and achieve sales targets. - **Reporting:** Regularly report on sales activities through CRM entries and other required reports. - **Travel:** Periodic travel, approximately 30-40%, or as needed.
