As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Van Driver/Maintenance Assistant to join our team and contribute to the health and happiness of our residents.
Position: Van Driver/Maintenance
Assist the daily maintenance functions along with the driving responsibilities of taking the residents to and from appointments.
- Pre-trip inspection of the vehicle at the beginning of your shift for safety
- Operate the vehicle within the limits of all laws and obey all traffic signs/signals
- Arrive on time to all scheduled stops
- Communicate with Dispatch regularly throughout your shift
- Assists residents and other passengers (e.g. seating, restraints, special equipment, etc.) for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from vehicles including both emergency situations and normal transport.
- Maintain proper licenses and training as mandated by management
- Alert Site Supervisor of any problems so we can help
- Maintain flexibility as situations can and will change frequently
Qualifications:
- Valid State Driver's License
- Clean driving history
- Communicates well, on the phone and in person
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizes and manages time wisely
