Eden Vista Hoffman Estates, part of Vista Senior Living Management, is looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant to enrich the lives of our residents.

Position: Life Enrichment Assistant

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking individuals who are devoted to fostering meaningful and purposeful lives for our residents. The Life Enrichment Assistant organizes and participates in person-specific activity programming, including one-to-one interventions, small-group facilitation, and large-group presentations. Capable of documenting individual participation and the value of approaches in the medical record.

Job functions will include:

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
  • Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day
  • Help design programs to encourage socialization
  • Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills
  • Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress
  • Ensure activity areas are safe and well-maintained
  • Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Ability to be imaginative, creative, and innovative
  • Musical/ arts & crafts experience preferred
