Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Edenbrook of Fond Du Lac, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON for our fantastic facility! The ADON is instrumental in implementing the nursing department’s day-to-day functions to maintain residents’ care standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
  • Conduct nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Ensure that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
  • Participate as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation, and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
  • Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
  • 3 years of experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
  • Experience with applicable state Survey Rules and regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
  • Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) is a PLUS!
